We are Ingrid and Megan, both born and raised in Aotearoa New Zealand.

We met in 2015, got engaged in 2017, and finally tied the knot in 2023.

The spark that ignited the flame of My Little Dandelion came in the form of our son, Arlo. After becoming parents in February 2021, our sense of responsibility to live more sustainable lives strengthened. 

​

Our journey to reduce our carbon footprint eventually led us on a mission of sourcing ethically made children's clothing. We had a few boxes to tick, so it was no surprise that we were met with many failed search engine results. 

​

Eventually, we came up with the crazy idea to source our own natural fabrics and handcraft Arlo's garments from scratch. After doing this for awhile, we came up with the even crazier idea to share these items with the world.

In August 2021, we launched My Little Dandelion. At last, a brand that ticked all our boxes and met our own expectations:

Almost three years later and we're still here, enjoying every bit of the process!

 

Only now, we have an additional little bub to cater to, our daughter, Juniper was born in February 2024.
